We are pleased to accept returns for items (excluding personalized pieces) by contacting us within 10 days of order delivery. The returned pieces must be in new condition, unworn, undamaged with any original tags attached and must be accompanied with a copy of the packing slip.

We offer a free return shipment. Olmsted Outerwear does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation for returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Olmsted Outerwear.

We normally verify and process returns within 3 business days from when they are received. The refund will be issued upon return acceptance, and you will receive a confirmation email.

For each item you wish to exchange, share the new item and the reason of return, and we will proceed with the exchange. Should the new product be more expensive, a new payment for the price difference is required. In case the price is lower, you will be refunded for the outstanding amount once we receive your return.

Please remember that items can be exchanged only one time.

The new item will be shipped to you once the return will be received and accepted at our Olmsted Atelier. 

Online returns are usually accepted within 3 business days from their receipt at our Olmsted Atelier.

The refund is issued to the same payment method you used for the purchase. You will receive a confirmation email from us once the refund has been requested.

The time needed for the credit to show in your account may vary based on the payment method and on local banking procedures.

We want to ensure you find the perfect fit. Each product page includes a size guide, and we also offer a comprehensive size guide based on body measurements to help you choose the right size.

Yes, we offer personalization for your orders. Olmsted wants to meet our customers’ specific needs and personalize your piece by adjusting our fit to your particular request. We can produce intermediate size or shorten the length of the coats and sleeves. Please note that personalized pieces are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Olmsted pieces are carefully crafted and made to order. Orders ship within 10 to 15 business days from the date of order. However, some locations may require an additional 1/2 days for delivery.

Please note that delivery may be delayed due to natural disasters or unseasonable weather.

After your order has shipped an automatic email will be sent including the tracking number and courier.

Dry cleaning is recommended on the majority of our jackets. Please always refer to care labels available inside your Olmsted piece for specific cleaning instructions.

If allowed by care label instructions, items might be cleaned at home. When cleaning your item at home, we recommend particular attention to:

• Not overload the washing machine, if washing machine cleaning is permitted.

• A front-loading washer is best (cold wash). We recommend using any mild detergent. 

• Tumble dry on low (preferably no heat) until completely dry.

For storage, we recommend to hang up and not to compress the item. Try to keep them dry, away from any humidity, and make sure to never store them away wet or damp.

Olmsted Outerwear pieces come with a two-year warranty. Complementary after-sales service is provided for production defects during the warranty period. We offer a fair price for repairs for issues experienced after two years from the purchase or damage due to wear and tear. Please complete the repair request here.

No, we do not have a physical retail location. Our products are exclusively available online, allowing us to offer a seamless shopping experience and deliver directly to your door.
